The time when patients had to put film plates in their mouth is finally over.
A small sensor, which replaces the classic film is held to the respective area. After only a few seconds the doctor and the patient can see the picture on a monitor. This method is more informative and save than the conventional x-ray shot. The sensor is extremely sensitive to x-rays therefore only 20% of the previous amount of radiation is needed.
We are already working with a digital x-ray machine!
